Mission & Vission

“Poorvamnaya Vaidik Ganita Prashikhyana Prakalpa” named by the
Shankaracharya Shri Shri Nischalananda Saraswatiji of Poorvamnaya Rukvediya Govardhan math, Puri. The aim of this prakalpa is to Promote, Propagate and Develop the skills of Ancient and Vedic mathematics through research work. The similarities between the name of the prakalpa and the name of Poorvamnaya Rukvediya Govardhan math is a blessings by Jagadguru Shankaracharya. Govardhan math is the birth place of Vedic mathematics. The eminent scholar and the 143 rd Shankaracharya of Govardhan math worked very hard to collect some pearls from the ocean of mathematics in the form of 16 Sutras, 13 upa-sutras and 3 Kuta sutras all in word forms.
It is really difficult to understand those sutras without perfect knowledge of Sanskrit and Veda. Our prakalpa is inviting interested teachers, students and scholars of Bharat and abroad to join us to develop the ancient knowledge of mathematics that may help our future generation to know this subject much better.
We organise seminars at different schools, colleges, universities and places to promote and develop interest in the teachers and students circle about this
subject.

MISSION AND VISSION-

In the Vedic system difficult problems or huge sums can often be solved immediately by the Vedic method. These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a complete system of mathematics, which is far more systematic than the modern system.
Interest in the Vedic system is growing in education where mathematics teachers are looking for something better and finding Vedic system is the answer. Research is being carried out in many areas including the effects of learning Vedic Mathematics on children, developing new, powerful but easy applications of the Vedic Sutras in geometry, calculus, computing etc.
But the real beauty and effectiveness of Vedic Mathematics cannot be fully appreciated without actually practicing the system. One can then see that it is perhaps the most refined and efficient mathematical system possible. So we, the team of Purvamnaya Vaidika Ganita Prasikhana Pakalpa is working hard to promote Vedic mathematics and educate every children of the society about
the exciting formulae of Vedic mathematics.

Mission of P.V.G.P.P.

1) Organising short term camps of Vedic mathematics in different villages.
2) Organising seminars on “Vedic mathematics” in Govt / Private school.
3) Organising teachers’ Training Programme at schools / colleges.
4) Organising online Webinar to promote “Vedic mathematics”.
5) Short term “Demo classes” of Vedic mathematics at different Parks or
colonies.
6) Promoting students for Research work in “Vedic and Ancient
Mathematics”.

Why do we need to combine Pure and Vedic Mathematics?

Schools all over the world utilize pure mathematics for their curriculum. Therefore an in-depth knowledge of pure mathematics is essential from the examination point of view. Unfortunately the mathematics that is taught in most schools and colleges lack flexibility, excitement and therefore become ‘boring’ to the students. On top of that many teachers lack the insight and knowledge required to teach the subject. The ongoing age old methods used for solving problems make the process of calculation lengthy and tiresome.
The right combination of Vedic and pure mathematics ensures correct understanding, extreme flexibility and an in-depth knowledge of the subject, thereby making calculations extremely rapid and interesting. This combination can be utilized for simple addition and subtraction, and also for more difficult operations like calculus, Trigonometry and higher algebra. Many of these operations can be done mentally. Therefore this can be used for students of all ages and standards. There are also wonderful methods for checking the sums. Utilizing this method, the student will become faster and more accurate in all- mathematical procedures.
